childhood

this post will be about my childhood.
it's rather interesting though. obviously everyone's childhood is interesting duh. i don't know where to start. erm. how about toys? :D all the good ol' times. lavished with different variety of toys. i miss those times. ohya, i remember. my brother's room used to be a store room. for toys. ^_^ you guys should have seen it. it was all over the place. and sometimes, if we want to get a toy that's above a hill of 'em, we had to climb the 'hill' just to get it. a mini mountain of toys. :D it's all gone now. i should have taken a picture of it. D: let's move on. days after pre-school, school or whatsoever is spent at the playground. :D in primary school, i have never before studied for an examination. not at all. except psle. even for PSLE, i only revised for maths. playgrounds were like a second home to me. around 8pm, i will head to the playground and meet up with my friends. :D and we'll play all the way till 10pm. or much later. 12am? latest, 1am. :D it was like, so much fun lah. and some of them, their parents were there too. cause, there was this tai chi and stuffs. so yeah. :D:D under adult's supervision. hmm, we played playgrounds. void deck soccer, badminton, running, climbed the pavillion roof, climbed the hill, beside the expressway, which is a few blocks from my house, and we would roll down on our backs, slide down by sitting on a piece of cupboard and other kind of styles. we explored different blocks. went up to the highest floor of different blocks. played block catching at some random block. but usually, it would be my block. we even played carpark catching. (: we made too much noise, at night and even in the day ,that residents lodged complaints about us. some of 'em even called the police. -.- seriously. we (were) just kids for god's sake. we managed to run away usually back home or to a random void deck and just sit there. but of course, we hid the ball . we used to go to each other's house, *take note, there was a group of us. consisted of more than 10?* we ate, played x-box, and other fun stuffs. sleepovers? only once. when we're in primary 2. did i mentioned that we were skaters and bikers too? bikers as in, cyclists lah. i used to borrow my younger brother's haro bike and four or five of us would race. the race "track" consists of carparks, pavements, slopes and etc. i won once. :D did bike stunts and etc. my brother broke one of our friend's bike. D: at times, when our blocks our blocks are having a blackout, mine was the most frequent .(it was in 2003 i think) i would give them lightsticks. me and my bro were like, the suppliers. cause, our old neighbour gave us some at times. we would gather at the fitness corner infront of my block and we'd throw the light sticks up as high as we could. or sometimes, we would just explore the dark blocks. or we would also sit infront of my house( or their houses), telling ghost stories and at the same time, passing people who lives in the same block ,light sticks as they come down or up the stairs. we were also good samaritans ^_^ umm, other "Miscellaneous" stuffs are, throwing a scooter up the big big tree. kicking soccerballs up to the roof of the pavillion. 'jamming' residents or any one if us in the elevators. cycle to pasir ris park. countless times. without parent knowing. played in the big pair ris "longkang" (drain) caught fishes in the "longkang" ohya, at one time, there was a small snake too. and we brought it back to our playground. (: played 'dare'. like eating twisties from a drain, from the ground and other gross stuffs that you guys wouldn't want to know. :D we were soo mischievous (and were good samaritans too!). i really missed those times. well, it lasted all the way till primary 6. till prelims i'd say. i got an agregate of 180 for prelims. that made me realise how much i needed to buck up. i scored an E grade for maths. o.o i didn't go down to the playgrounds anymore. nor did i even went to meet my friends. they just kept playing and so on. somehow, i drifted apart from them. cause i prioritised my studies. i was lucky i managed to improve. but still, i feel really bad. it was that time when i lost my very best friend that i've known ever since i was four. we were inseparable before. now, we don't even say hi or anything. it's all my fault. i shouldn't have abandoned her. i should have made time for her. i guess it's too late eh. at least, she was the best childhood friend i've ever had and i should be thankful for that. :D as for now, i ain't that mischievous. ( i think) even though i wished i was. good times. good times. i think that's all for childhood. in truth, there is no words in the dictionary that could express fully the fun childhood i had. and for your information, whatever i typed above , is only a small part of my childhood. there are more adventures and fun to it. but nah, i won't blog about it. cause, it's for me to treasure, and me myself.
